Paul is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Paul earned his BA from Eisenhower College of Rochester Institute of Technology and his MA from Minnesota State University. He earned his Chartered Leadership Fellow and Certified Financial Planner designations from The American College. Paul entered the financial services field in 1992 after serving nine years as an active duty U.S. Army Pilot.
Paul is active in the community having served as a Town Councilor and past Chairman for the Town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, President of the Greater Portland Council of Governments, and President of the National Eagle Scout Association for the Pine Tree Council, BSA. He is a former member of the Arizona Military Family Relief Fund Advisory Board. He is a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, serving as Adjunct Staff at the Center for Strategic Leadership and Development at the U.S. Army War College. He is a member of Rotary International. Paul and his wife Betsy, have three grown children serving as officers in the U.S. military and several grandchildren.
Betsy earned her BS in Social Sciences Magna Cum Laude from Troy State University; a BS in Nursing Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Southern Maine; and an MS in Sociology with highest honors Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society from Minnesota State University. She earned her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College. Betsy is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, with expertise in developing retirement plans for businesses.
Betsy entered the financial services field in 1996 after working as a Registered Nurse, an educator and a professional in human services. She has been an active volunteer in various community projects, scouting, and her children’s schools. Betsy and her husband Paul, have three grown children serving as officers in the U.S. military and several grandchildren.
